Press Release - October 30, 2009:

 

The Girl Scouts of Western Oklahoma is proud to have 10 teams participating out of 64 in total in this years FIRST LEGO League program.  The "Screaming Outsiders" is a team of 10 girls from Edmond and Deer Creek Oklahoma who's ages range from 9 to 12 years old.  And these girls are excited about sharing their experience with younger girls to get them interested in this fun and rewarding program that ignites an enthusiasm for discovery, science, and technology.  Go to http://fllokscouts.blogspot.com/ to learn more about the great things this team is doing.

 

The team would also like to welcome girls from all around Oklahoma to come check-out this program by inviting them as their guests to the FIRST LEGO League scrimmage being held at Northwest Classen High School in Oklahoma City on November 21st.  Friends are also invited to the the final competition being held at Stillwater High School on December 12th.  Go to http://www.oksef.org/ for additional details.

Media Team Sponsor Logo Brainstorming

1. Bring stuff in with boxes, decorations all with the sponsors names on them

2. Make fake tatoos with sponsors names on them

3. Wear head bands using iron on tatoos (the ones you can print on a home printer) with the sponsors logo

4. Make stand up signs that can be in our off the field team area.  Use Sierra's "Worddeguns" (sp?)

5. Make everything

Here FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Lego League Team #6781 will virtually gather to share ideas, thoughts, plans, interesting finds and much more. We are working on Smart Moves 2009 with a focus on Transportation.
